Our Mission
CardiAction exists to make advanced cardiovascular health screening accessible to everyone. We believe that understanding your heart and artery health should not require a hospital visit, a specialist referral, or a blood test. Our platform brings validated, non-invasive screening technology to pharmacies and health services, where people already go for their health needs.
The Problem We Are Solving
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death globally, claiming over 20 million lives each year. In Australia alone, 44,000 people die from CVD annually. Yet up to 80% of these deaths are preventable with early intervention and lifestyle modification.
The standard arm-cuff blood pressure check, while valuable, can miss critical indicators of cardiovascular health. From our operational data across thousands of screenings, 30% of individuals had clinically meaningful findings despite presenting with normal brachial blood pressure.
Our Approach
CardiAction is an adjunct, not an alternative, to existing cardiovascular care. We support GPs and healthcare providers by identifying at-risk individuals earlier. Our platform uses validated Pulse Wave Analysis technology to measure what is actually happening in the arteries in real time, adding depth and context that a brachial reading alone cannot provide.

Chairman
Klaus is Chairman of CardiAction and CardiAction Screening Australia, and the CEO and Founder of Dreamoro Group, comprising Dreamoro Ventures, a healthtech-focused venture capital fund, and Dreamoro Studio, a technology and commercialisation studio that partners with founders to build scalable digital products. Previously, Klaus was CEO and Co-Founder of ASX-listed 1st Group Ltd, the company behind the MyHealth1st healthcare booking platform, which he took to IPO in 2015 and led until 2022. He brings over 35 years of experience in SaaS platform development, health technology commercialisation, and multi-jurisdictional business operations, and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Dr John Cook
Director and Co-Founder
John is a co-founder and director of CardiAction and has been a practising GP for over 45 years, based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Throughout his career, he has cared for tens of thousands of patients and their families. It was John's firsthand clinical experience of patients suffering heart attacks and strokes despite standard heart health checks that drove the founding of CardiAction. John continues to practise medicine today and provides the clinical authority behind CardiAction's screening methodology and protocols.

Dr Paul Beaver (PhD)
Director and Co-Founder
Paul is a co-founder and director of CardiAction with over 30 years of experience in personalised healthcare, genetic profiling, nutrigenomics, and cardiovascular risk assessment. He is the inventor of the PreScreen algorithm and the driving force behind CardiAction's clinical science program. Paul has trained more than 1,200 general practitioners, medical specialists, and allied health professionals across Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and internationally. He holds a PhD, was appointed Honorary Senior Research Fellow at La Trobe University, and in 2018 was recognised as a Laureate of the Gusi Peace Prize International for his exemplary contribution to scientific research.

Director
Greg is an independent director of CardiAction and CardiAction Screening Australia with deep roots in the Australian healthtech startup ecosystem. He is the founder of HealthTech Innovation Queensland, a long-standing community connecting healthtech founders, researchers, and investors, and a director of 20 20 Innovations and Investments, a boutique consultancy focused on early-stage technology commercialisation, investment readiness, and government grants. Greg has served as a Queensland Government Business and Investment Mentor and brings extensive experience as an angel investor and startup mentor.
