Pulse Wave Analysis Device
CardiAction ProScreen uses the Uscom BP+ device, a TGA-registered (ARTG 254498) and FDA-cleared medical device that captures central haemodynamic parameters from a standard arm cuff using suprasystolic oscillometry. It is the only commercially available device globally reported to satisfy the International ARTERY Society Task Force’s stringent accuracy criteria for central blood pressure measurement. Although it resembles a standard blood pressure machine, the Uscom BP+ costs around $5,000, versus about $200 for a conventional BP device, and generates rich real-time telemetry that is uploaded into the CardiAction ProScreen platform to provide deeper insight into arterial health and cardiac performance in the moment.
